I have to give this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
This review will contain **Spoilers**
This book grabbed me by my brain strings or irritation. It was too overly obvious with how much everyone was say she would hate him when she found out, that he was a *gasp* vampire.
I do have to give it to Kaitlyn Davis, she did make her characters a tad more 3 dimensional then some other YA vampire books I've read.
However, the whole vampire boy being a bad boy thing, is over used, but it makes sense, and I love how she showed Tristan's soft side also.
The only I couldn't figure out exactly was, how she fought off vampires. That may have lost some of you, along with it being obvious that Tristan was a vampire, it was also just a clear that Kira was meant to kill/harm vampires, how, by channelling the sun.
Amazingly if I think about it that's the first time I've ever heard that one. Channelling the sun to fight vampires. I'm pretty sure out there there's a book with the same idea, but how can you not have ideas overlap when there's thousands of books about vampires and vampire hunters falling in love.
Luke, I actually had a few times where I wished Kira would just kiss him, more to shut him up then anything, but he was just trying to be nice and help.
I'm debating if I want to read the next book, I am really interested in Tristan and Kira's relationship, how is it going to work out, and what do the missing pages say about the combined race of conduit. This is probably going to bother me for quite some time.
Oh well I do suggest you give this book a try, it is pretty good.
