This does contain **spoilers** below.This was a long book, and due to many complications I didn't finish it as quick as I would have liked to, but I finally did finish it and I'm saying now, it was well worth the wait. I can't wait to read the next one. And my favorite part of this too, is the movie that came out on Valentine's day.
Poor Macon, he died because he loved Lena so much, and I hope her mother got what was coming to her. Hell I even feel sorry for Mrs. Lincoln, and then I think of Link, and what the hell did he say to Ridley that made her not kill Ethan's dad.
I hated Larkin from the beginning, now I see why I did. Stupid illusionist, why would he deceive his family like that, and poor Aunt Del, they can't even think of a way to break it to her that both the children went dark.
At the end of the book it says something about how Lena's eyes are different, one green one yellow, how is she going to hide that, everyone already hates her, and having a different colored eyed is going to make them freak, I mean she isn't an illusionist like Larkin was, God he's an ass. I also already hate, hate hate hate hate, Hunting, aka a blood incubus, aka the dream incubuses brother aka Macon's brother.
